A story of Playful & True Love. in the beginning, when it’s in its purest and simplest form. Having received in your heart what you desired, and it was delivered, and shared with the person you thought would forever be your best friend, your partner, and your soul-mate. It is what we all desire and long for, and welcoming it in with great pleasure. Close your eyes and see –
Searching for the contentment
of walking along a trail,
together,
wanting to love and be loved,
sharing fleeting moments
of laughter, pleasure,
leaving impressions for all time.
Exploring the mysteries
of what lies beneath
the looks, the sigh, the frown,
or the quick sparkle of an eye.
Close your eyes and feel –
Wandering together,
yet apart, but close enough
to smell the fragrance, well-known,
to feel the warmth of a close touch,
the anticipation
of a moment not yet arrived,
new, and familiar.
Close your eyes and remember –
Impossible to live apart,
you’re not,
Each of you connected in heart,
in thought,
in and within each other,
knowing well,
sealed through time
how it feels
when the other looks into,
and sees, and knows
and understands
That strong and gentle love.
Close your eyes and know –
That you found yourself thirsty,
and tasted the sweetness,
you spoke and listened,
you created, something of your own,
that you will always find yourselves,
Together.
Come. Look. Closer.
